Swung/TX is a WCS social focused on community, learning as much as we can about the dance, and moving forward. This social is designed for EVERYONE, from beginners first starting out to the champions in our scene. Our goal is to be a part of helping the Austin WCS scene regroup after COVID-19 and make it even better than it was before.

Emily started her dance journey in college where she quickly developed a passion for West Coast Swing. Emily is a US Open Showcase Champion and loves to dance to both improv and choreography. She is passionate about movement and can’t wait to teach a solo styling workshop for Swungover ATX!

UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to an injury, Emily will no longer be able to teach our instructor class for this week. However, we're incredibly lucky to have Sebastian Quinones step in to be teaching for us! Sebastian will be teaching a class on transitions, to create a continuous & seamless dance. Emily Huang will be back to teach for us for our July social though. Get Excited!

Becca Yasskin will be teaching an intro to West Coast Swing workshop for all of your friends who want to join our crazy dance and don't know where to start! This will be happening from 8:30 pm-9:30 pm.
