What is Austin's Friday Night Refresh?
This is a West Coast Swing social that aims to help you unwind from the week, spend time with great people, and put that dance bug back in action!

It is a place for all dancers whether they are new to the dance, have had years of experience, are feeling social or just can’t stay away from the dance floor.

Why: We want to keep Austin dancing!! The COVID-19 pandemic really put a damper on our dance community's social dance opportunities. Now that a good number of us are fully vaccinated and the COVID-19 infection rates are down (we're in stage 2, almost stage 1!), we want to provide a social experience that leaves you feeling excited about dancing.

COVID-19 Protocols:
While I know some of us still have some concerns over the COVID-19 situation, but it appears that the situation is getting much better! The CDC is now stating that fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear a facemask for activities (indoor or outdoor). In addition to this, I know a good number of you at the last dance indicated that you would be comfortable without masks, and some dance studios in the area are planning to make masks optional right around the time of this event as well. So with that, if you provide proof of vaccination, you will not be required to wear a mask. That is, they will be optional for fully vaccinated individuals.

Another point of information here is that the COVID numbers in the Austin area are looking good. We are currently in stage 2 and the numbers appear to be trending downward, so hopefully that gives you a little comfort.

As one last point on this subject, if you aren't feeling well, we do ask that you stay home and get healthy. We will miss seeing you, but we care about your health and the health of all of our patrons too!

When:
July 16th.
Workshop: 8:30pm
Social dancing: 9:15pm - 1am.

Cost: $12 dollar entry at the door.
Please bring a debit or credit card as this is the preferred payment method.
